Sebastian Straube became a venture partner of Sunfish Partners in 2023. He is with the fund part-time. He supports the team with investments in next-generation space and defense companies.

Sebastian has been a trusted advisor to many entrepreneurs throughout his career. He previously led European Government Relations at Isar Aerospace, one of Europe’s fastest-growing space companies.

Sebastian co-authored the influential space policy report “Space: Will Europe Awaken?” published by the French think tank Institut Montaigne. He was also involved in the setup of SpaceFounders, an accelerator founded by the Bundeswehr University Munich and Centre National d’Études Spatiales.
